The Isolation of Architecture

This series represents the transformation of a concept piece "Elucidation" developed over the past 13 years and culminating in sculptures depicting deities from a futuristic, polytheistic institution.  Inspired by diverse cultures and mythologies, "The Goddesses" present fresh, yet familiar, renditions of religious and mythological iconography.

The collection seamlessly blends design, sculpture, and upcycled objects to immerse viewers in the visual realm of this quasi-religious practice.

Each sculpture undergoes meticulous planning, sculpting and casting, often crafted from materials such as resin, fiberglass, gold-leaf and acrylic paint.  Layers of acrylic paint and gold leaf are applied, followed by glossy resin, to bring the imagined concept to life.  The deliberate choice of black, white and gold, as well as written symbols, are to create a striking and bold narrative.

Upcycled objects lend a new identity and purpose to these materials, exploring themes of religious enhancement.  The viewer may be left with a sense of new mythologies, reminiscent of past doctrines, as they contemplate the collection.

These images were curated for the PolyOne "Color & Light" Festival, some of which had AR renditions leading the audience to an exhibition of the physical sculptures.

Nocturnal Episodic Dreamscape

The image is several worlds removed from reality beginning its life an AI prompt evolved through multiple iterations. The resulting AI image is refined using image editing software. The final image has a sense of its original self, but has evolved into a new other worldly image. The colors used cannot be represented on paper and for that reason they are best expressed as NFTs in their native digital format.

: Suspended in the depths of an otherworldly abyss, a young woman drifts in silence, her expression serene yet haunting. Her dark hair floats weightlessly as bubbles ascend toward the shimmering surface above. Streaks of crimson trail from her closed eyes, hinting at sorrow, mystery, or transformation. The water distorts light upon her pale skin, creating an ethereal glow that contrasts with the deep, shadowed ocean around her. A delicate balance between beauty and tragedy, this artwork evokes themes of escape, rebirth, and the quiet solitude found beneath the waves.

Dahlia Fleur" is a vibrant, expressive piece where the dahlia blooms in a whirlwind of intense colors and dynamic textures. Created with oil pastels using the scratching technique, it reveals striking contrasts and depth. The intertwining petals, in shades of red, pink, green, and blue, create a hypnotic sense of movement. The technique adds richness, making this artwork more than a floral depiction—it’s an explosion of emotion, a tribute to nature, and a celebration of artistic spontaneity.

This vibrant artwork reimagines the peacock in a surreal, organic form. Its signature feather patterns flow and intertwine, creating a dynamic, almost liquid landscape.
Bold greens, yellows, and blues evoke both nature and dreamlike energy. Eye-like shapes multiply across the feathers, giving the impression of endless observation.
The mix of smooth curves and textured areas adds contrast and depth, making the composition feel alive and in motion. A fusion of nature and imagination, this piece offers a poetic, mesmerizing vision.

As reality drifts us further apart, I find myself adrift in a sea of yearning. Yet, in the sanctuary of sleep, you are always there, waiting for me. In dreams, your smile mends my broken heart and completes my fragmented soul. It is as if the universe itself conspires to bring us together. I long for the day you will truly understand how deeply I need us to be one. Until then, I take solace in the realm of dreams, where our souls meet and our love defies the limits of reality.
